About us

We have a healthy obsession with food.

The chefs

We are Jessica and Susan Partain (yes, sisters!), and we handle all aspects of the business; sculpting the charms, designing the finished jewelry, and working with you to make sure your jewelry is perfect!  We both have been making the charms for more than eighteen years.

Jessica is based in Charlottesville, VA, and has a serious weakness for homemade desserts (especially chocolate chip cookies), Earl Grey, tuna melts, and pretty much everything the Sunday Night Dinner crowd whips up.

Susan lives and works in Washington, DC.  Outside of sculpting tiny food, she also enjoys making (and eating!) actual meals for herself and friends.  She's happy to eat pretty much anything that doesn't live in a shell.

Why food?

Everyone has a favorite food! Food brings back memories of special occasions. We both love to make food (both miniature and real). Most importantly, of course, food is fun! Read more about the stories behind many of our goodies on our blog!

Why "inedible?"

We meticulously hand-sculpt all of our charms from polymer clay. Our careful attention to detail ensures that every charm looks just as delicious as the real thing. Since polymer clay is so sturdy, your charms will be around a lot longer than their edible counterparts!
